For example, if all employees in the company work 8 hours a day and at least 4 of them are between 10 AM and 2 PM, it will be quite simple to arrange meeting times that fit everyone. Collaboration between multiple teams is easier, as the teams are available at the same time.
Another pro: you can invest in specific courses and educational materials for each team member that will be useful in your company and situation. It can be expensive (yes, online courses and lectures for each team member can be quite an expensive treat), but it offers you a chance to customize the development direction for the whole team.
The pros are not bad, but, of course, there are cons as well. These are the most important ones.
Recruiting is expensive
You have to consider the recruitment costs, training costs, taxes, extra benefits, vacations and everything in between. This is not just a simple invoice at the end of the month. Also, every employee is limited to what he can achieve in a day, so if there's a seasonal tendency for extra hands needed for marketing, it can turn into a difficult task to hire enough people fast enough.
